Glee and HIMYM

August 19, 2010

Watching dvd was not my hobby, moreover if doing it alone. Seems like you are the loneliest and the poorest person in the world. You have no one to watch movie together in cinema, or have nothing fun to do.
Now I eat my words. I had finished Glee movie and How I Meet Your Mother season 1 in only 2 days for each movie. You can call me dvd freak now -_-. Actually I don’t change my opinion about dvd’s watcher is the most loneliest person blablablah, because I am now. Remember? I am jobless. That could be the reason why I add watching dvd as my new hobby. Then, that’s my effort to improve my english, even I don’t feel it works correctly. Honestly my english is better, but also getting worse. In that movie all I hear or read (the subtitle) is sentences like these: “you’re f*cking right”, or “who the hell is that girl”, or the worst “u are f*cking bad a*s”. Hahaha, I choose the wrong movies I guess. -_-

Dvds that I watched had only simple-and-”just”-great stories. Not an incredible awesome one like inception, or heroes maybe (I didn’t finish watched heroes honestly). But some of the stories have a good conversation and message. I noted some of them:

*Glee*
Tina to her boyfriend:
“I just want to tell not give up on your dream. If u can imagine it, it can come true.”
Kurt to finn:
“Nothing is impossible when it comes to love.”

*HIMYM*

Lily: “I’d love to go back and be that person again, but you can’t move backwards. You can only go forward.”
Robin: “False. You can go wherever u want.”

Ted: “Love is not a science, u can’t calculate feeling.”

Marshall: “Ted just had a huge date. How’d it go, dude?”
Ted: “I didn’t go.”
Marshall: “What? Why?”
Ted : “I changed my mind. I don’t want to meet her.”
Marshall: “Why? She sounds perfect.
I don’t want perfect. I want robin.”

“Sometimes, even when u know something’s a mistake, you gotta make it anyway. Even it really really dumb mistake.”

See? Beautiful right? But movie is only movie, in reality it’s not that simple. Just enjoy :)

Ps: I still watch movies in cinema every week or 2 weeks, I’m not that poor :p
